Conflict Is an Opportunity

Scripture: “I always thank my God when I mention you in my prayers… I appeal to you for my son Onesimus.” — Philemon 4, 10

Conflict is never pleasant, but in Christ it becomes purposeful. Paul’s letter to Philemon shows us that tension doesn’t have to end in division—it can become a doorway for grace. Instead of running from conflict or trying to overpower it, believers can see it as an opportunity to glorify God, serve others, and grow in Christlikeness. When handled with humility and love, conflict can even strengthen relationships and display the power of the gospel.

Reflection: How might God be inviting you to honor Him through a conflict you’re facing today?

Prayer: Lord, teach me to see conflict the way You do. Help me glorify You, serve others, and pursue peace with a heart shaped by Christ.
