Building Up, Not Tearing Down

Scripture: “Therefore encourage one another and build one another up… be patient with them all.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:11, 14

Reflection: Encouragement is a gift in itself—sometimes it’s our words, sometimes our presence, sometimes our service. Prayer: Holy Spirit, open my eyes to the people around me who need encouragement. Let my gift of service or Word or whatever You’ve given me shine in building others up, and let me be slow to criticize and quick to love.
